Joe has lived here in Fernley for about three years. Previously he lived in Twin Peaks Ca.
Joe has been a volunteer here at the Fernley Senior Center for about a year.
His main duties include setting the tables, feeding the birds, sharing his smile and anything else that needs attention.
Joe volunteers about ten hours a week.
He became a volunteer to bring up his spirits and found how his smile makes others feel better!
His favorite thing about volunteering is giving and receiving smiles.
Joe has his mom, brother and his brothers fiancé her with him. He is close to his family.
His former profession was as a maintenance technician.
Joe would tell others to become a volunteer to share the joy with other!
