Welcome to Planet Todd. Any of you movie buffs out there remember Mom and Dad Save the World? Planet Todd, Emperor Todd. If our current mayor were to ever notice his own words he could fill a notebook at each event he attends with the number of "I's" he uses. There doesn't appear to be too much "we" in the mayor's messages to the citizens. This has never been more evident than in a city council meeting. He runs them like a school assembly where the attendees are to be obediant. Last council meeting his royalness attempted to have local developer Don Parsons, also a viable candidate for the Ward 2 council seat, thrown out of the meeting by the Sheriff's Department for being, what, out of line? Or was it not cowtowing to his royal highness the god emperor mayor of Fernley? What happened to freedom of speech in Fernley? His royalness certainly lets Councilman Cal have his way with repeatedly bringing up defeated efforts! Sure seems like his Emperorship picks and chooses what he want to hear. By the way, the Sheriff did apparently come to the meeting as a result of his worships temper tantrum. Don, keep up the good work. You can take him. Maybe you should run for mayor? At least you'd let the people speak. There's a bunch of us average joes that will back you with a recall petition of his egoness.
